Growth Business Development Associate

About Alauda AI


 

Alauda AI is building ACE (ace.alauda.ai), an AI website design agent for local service businesses. ACE profiles a business, studies its industry and competitors, then designs, develops, and optimizes a custom website with built-in CMS, SEO, and GEO so the site ranks on Google and shows up in AI search results like ChatGPT and Perplexity. What takes traditional agencies weeks and thousands of dollars, ACE delivers in hours at a fraction of the cost, with agency-level quality and zero generic templates.


 

We are a small, fast-moving team based in New York. You will be joining a real startup at an early stage with direct access to the founder.


 

The Role


 

You will own customer acquisition channels end-to-end. You will be responsible for building outreach systems, running campaigns, and finding what moves the needle to bring new customers to ACE.


 

What you'll do:


 

• Build and execute cold outreach campaigns through email and SMS to reach businesses such as professional services, local small businesses, and startups.

• Identify and engage potential customers on freelancer platforms like Upwork and Fiverr to propose our solution and product offering tailored to their needs.

• Research and explore other potential channels to acquire customers.

• Develop partnership opportunities with complementary service providers who already serve our target customers.

• Track outreach performance across all channels, iterate on messaging, and optimize for conversion.

• Work directly with the founder with no layers between you and decisions.


 

What we're looking for:


 

We are looking for an MBA student with a bias toward action and a background in sales, business development, or outbound marketing. You should be comfortable writing cold emails that don't sound like cold emails, and willing to experiment, fail fast, and try again. Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot or cold outreach platforms is a plus. Familiarity with AI tools and solutions in the sales space is a bonus.


 

What you'll get:
