Shop Tech Assistant
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Shop Tech Assistant to support our day-to-day warehouse operations and work alongside our technicians. This role is critical to maintaining an efficient, organized, and safe shop environment, while ensuring timely shipping, receiving, and material handling for custom overlanding builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring items are stored efficiently and safely.
- Handle shipping and receiving processes, including checking incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Prepare parts and equipment for technician builds and installations.
- Assist with daily warehouse cleaning, packaging disposal, and shop organization.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Support technicians with parts delivery, staging materials, and basic prep work as needed.
- Follow and enforce all shop and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping software.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and in a team setting.
- Great mechanical aptitude. Experience using hand tools.
- Passion or interest in overlanding, off-roading, or vehicle customization is a strong plus.
