Enrollment Specialist (Bloomington Opera Camp™)

Full-Time | Contract | Remote | Base + Commission

 

The Performing Arts Laboratory (PAL) is seeking motivated professionals to join our team as Enrollment Specialists for the prestigious Bloomington Opera Camp™. This is a full-time contract position with uncapped earning potential, designed for self-starters who enjoy building relationships and connecting families with world-class performing arts experiences.

 

Why This Role:

PAL provides training, marketing materials, and an initial database of interested contacts. You bring the drive and professionalism. This is a 3-month contract, entry-level role ideal for candidates who are comfortable with proactive outreach, enjoy helping families find the right programs, and want to be compensated directly for their results.

 

Compensation Structure:

  • Base Commission: 7% per confirmed registration (approximately $148–$405 per enrollment, depending on program selection)
  • Performance Tiers: Commission rates increase based on monthly enrollment volume:
    • 10 enrollments per month: Rate increases to 8% (approximately $1,702–$4,633 monthly)
    • 15 enrollments per month: Rate increases to 10% (approximately $3,192–$8,687 monthly)
    • 20 enrollments per month: Rate increases to 12% (approximately $5,107–$13,898 monthly)
    • 30 enrollments per month: Rate increases to 14% (approximately $8,938–$24,322 monthly)
  • First-Month Incentives:
    • $50 bonus on your first confirmed enrollment
    • Guaranteed 10% commission on all enrollments completed during your first 30 days (effectively starting at the accelerated rate)
  • Payment Terms: Commissions are paid weekly via direct deposit for all confirmed enrollments. Full-time contractors in this role typically earn $40,000–$80,000+ annually based on performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outreach & Engagement
  • Connect with interested families and individuals who have inquired about Bloomington Opera Camp™ programs
  • Conduct professional follow-up via phone and email to answer questions and guide families through the enrollment process
  • Build relationships with music teachers, school administrators, and community organizations to share information about camp opportunities
  • Prospecting & Relationship Building
  • Identify and research potential community partners (schools, music associations, cultural groups)
  • Share program information with new contacts to expand access to performing arts education
  • Maintain organized records of outreach activities and outcomes

 

Reporting:

  • Participate in brief daily check-ins and weekly team reviews
  • Track outreach activities and enrollment results
  • Training & Support Provided

 

Training: 4-hour self-paced product training + 1-hour live virtual session

Systems Orientation: 30-minute CRM/tracker training

Sales Tools: Email templates, call scripts, objection-handling guides, and marketing collateral

Starter Contacts: Initial database of interested families and individuals

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Self-Motivated: You set goals and follow through consistently
  • Strong Communicator: You engage clearly and empathetically via phone and email
  • Organized: You track your activities and follow up persistently
  • Sales Experience Welcome: Background in phone sales, retail, or business development is a plus—but we provide training
  • Arts Interest Bonus: Genuine interest in performing arts is helpful but not required

 

Time Commitment: This is a full-time contract role requiring approximately 35–40 hours per week.
