About The Tight Curls Project
The Tight Curls Project is a podcast about understanding, celebrating, and caring for tightly curled hair through thoughtful conversation and science-based insight.
Each episode brings together voices from different perspectives, scientists, stylists, educators, physicians, and women with deeply personal relationships to their hair. Together we explore the beauty, joy, and complexity of tightly curled hair while sharing practical ideas that help listeners care for their hair with more confidence.
While the show often draws on scientific research about hair structure ait is grounded in real experiences and everyday life.
Season 2 will also begin exploring how our understanding and appreciation of textured hair has been shaped by history, culture, and the communities that have carried knowledge forward.
