Black Bear Sports Group is seeking a motivated Operations Associate to join our growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in sports business, facility management, and operations to gain hands-on experience while working with an experienced team in a fast-paced environment.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of our facilities, programs, and partnerships while contributing to our broader mission of helping grow the game of hockey in the communities we serve.

This role is designed as an entry point for motivated candidates who want to build a career in sports, offering hands-on experience and significant growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding $100 million hockey organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operational and administrative functions across company facilities and programs
• Maintain and organize operational reports, schedules, and tracking documents using Microsoft Excel
• Assist with data analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making
• Coordinate with internal teams, facility staff, and external partners
• Assist with event logistics, scheduling, and operational planning
• Track operational metrics and help maintain internal records and documentation
• Support operations leadership on projects and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Above-average Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and data organization
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in building a long-term career in the sports industry
