Professional Relocation Sales Representative

PROFESSIONAL RELOCATION SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Woodland Moving & Warehouse, Inc. is a growing veteran-owned relocation company located in West Hartford seeking an additional Professional Relocation Sales Representative to help grow existing market share and introduce new accounts by estimating and conveying pricing information to customers for their relocation and storage needs. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conducts pre-move surveys via in person walk-throughs, virtual, or telephonic means and generates estimates for relocation and/or storage services using customized software solutions
  • Contacts and follows through on new and existing leads (both company-provided and those that are self-initiated) to increase sales and closing ratios
  • Seeks new opportunities and prepares customized marketing presentations to facilitate company growth
  • Prospects for new residential, corporate, and government accounts to increase domestic and international market share
  • Attends meetings and other similar events, trade shows, and network opportunities to interact with community members, prospective customers, business owners, and existing clients
  • Creates, updates, and maintains accurate and up-to-date records concerning sales efforts, bookings, and cancellations
  • Cultivates new relationships while fostering existing ones

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology or similarly related field or 2+ years of demonstrated and progressing Sales experience
  • Career-minded, entrepreneurial in spirit, and an ability to work well independently
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with appropriate presence and tact to suitably represent company in various environments
  • Outgoing personality with exceptional communication skills using the English language (written and verbal), along with strong customer service, organizational, and follow-through abilities
  • Solid computer skills (prior CRM experience is a plus!)
  • 18+ years old with valid Real ID driver’s license
  • Prior B2B sales, B2C sales, and/or Household Goods Industry experience is preferred but is not required
