Research Study Coordinator
Join a dynamic, mission-driven neurology research team. We investigate the mechanisms of delirium—an acute disorder of attention and awareness affecting nearly 1 in 5 older hospitalized adults. Our goal is to improve diagnosis, prediction, and outcomes through innovative clinical research and cutting‑edge technology development.
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Study Coordinator who is excited to work at the intersection of clinical care, neuroscience, and emerging digital health tools. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in clinical research—perfect for those considering medical school, graduate school, or a long-term career in research.
As a core member of our team, you will:
Recruit and engage study participants within the hospital setting
Perform in-person and remote cognitive evaluations
Collaborate with healthcare providers and communicate with participant families
Collect, process, and manage biospecimens
Assist with data analyses
Contribute to the development of wearable and AI‑based tools for detecting delirium
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical research environment, values both compassionate patient interaction and scientific rigor, and can work both in a team and independently. A 2‑year commitment is strongly preferred to allow for full immersion, skill development, and project continuity. This position supports an in-person clinical research study with hospitalized patients and therefore requires on-site presence and occasional weekend shifts to support our research participants fully.
If you are passionate about improving patient outcomes, eager to gain hands-on clinical and research experience, and motivated to contribute to innovative neurology research, we would love to hear from you.
