forml is a sibling co-founded: Shaine Hirsh was the youngest FTE in SpaceX history, leading Orbital Operations for Starlink before turning 18, and Satchel Hirsh is an applied AI researcher from a DARPA-backed AI lab, who deployed ML at Discover and a high-growth fintech startup before turning 21.


Key Tools & Technologies
Frontend (experience with at least ONE of the following)
• Angular
• React
• Node.js
• ngx ecosystem
(Strong TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals are important, but we're not expecting you to know every
framework.)

Backend (must-have)
• Python (expert-level)
• Flask (or similar Python backend frameworks)
• Redis
• Celery

Infrastructure / DevOps
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Basic familiarity with CI/CD setups

Nice-to-Haves
• Experience at a fast-moving startup
• Exposure to AI/ML or interest in model-serving / applied ML
 

Core Skills

Technical Skills
• Deep Python experience and the ability to architect backend systems
• Solid frontend experience with at least one modern JS framework
• Comfortable working across the entire stack to ship real product
• Understanding of distributed systems, caching layers, background workers
• Strong debugging instincts—able to track down root causes quickly

Soft Skills
• Clear communicator who is a good teammate
• Takes ownership and enjoys building things from scratch
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
