About the Role 

IP Pathways is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. This is a hybrid position based out of our Urbandale headquarters, offering the flexibility of remote work alongside high-impact, in-person collaboration.  

This role is designed for a candidate who wants to do more than just shadow – you will be an active contributor to our growth, helping us bridge the gap between complex technology and the businesses that need it.  

General Responsibilities  

  • Assist in the development and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media and email.  
  • Organizing, planning and promoting events and conferences. 
  • Support the maintenance and updating of marketing collateral, including sales presentations, brochures and promotional materials. 
  • Manage and grow our social media on LinkedIn and Facebook, using social media management tools to schedule and analyze posts. 
  • Work closely with the marketing team and various other departments to ensure brand consistency and project alignment. 
  • Manage the IP Pathways “swag” inventory and handout process for events and client outreach. 
  • Maintain and update marketing playbook materials 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Currently working towards a college degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field. 
  • An understanding of professional marketing techniques and a desire to apply them in a B2B tech environment. 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and design tools like Canva. 
  • Familiarity with professional social media platforms. 
  • Hubspot CRM experience preferred but not required. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail. 
  • Highly organized, capable of working independently in a hybrid environment, and a creative problem-solver. 
  • An interest or background in the technology industry is a significant plus.  

This summer internship begins in May 2026 and offers the potential to convert into a full-time position upon conclusion (August 2026). While our corporate office is Urbandale, IA, some local travel to Omaha and Kansas City is a possibility for on-site event support.
