Campaign Social Media Intern

 

This is a part-time, temporary position based in the South Bay Area. As a Campaign Social Media Intern, you will assist in creating content, editing content, and managing and updating campaign social media accounts to enhance the candidate's online presence and engage voters. Your role may also include analyzing campaign performance, contributing to strategy development, and working closely with the campaign team to support overall communication efforts. This hands-on role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in political campaigning and social media management. We expect about 25 hours of work per week toward this role, for at least three months.

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of digital content creation and editing
  • Experience with major social media platforms and content generation, including scheduling
  • Proficiency in communication, including strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Analytical skills for tracking and analyzing campaign performance metrics
  • Project management abilities to coordinate social media strategies and meet deadlines
  • A passion for political campaigns and civic engagement
  • Attention to detail and a creative approach to content creation, messaging, and amplification
