Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using techniques such as:
o Infrared Spectroscopy (IR)
o Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) spectroscopy
o Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC)
o Gas Chromatography (GC)
o Titrations and other wet chemistry methods
• Prepare samples, standards, calibration curves, and reagents following established procedures.
• Analyze and interpret data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Document all analytical results in laboratory notebooks or LIMS.
• Follow written test methods, SOPs, and safety procedures consistently.
• Prioritize daily tasks to meet testing deadlines and project schedules.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate test status clearly.
Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, or related field; or equivalent laboratory experience (0–3 years).
• Basic understanding of chemical principles and common analytical techniques.
• Experience with IR, ICP, GPC, GC, or titrations (coursework or internship acceptable) preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work with minimal supervision after training.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safe laboratory practices and compliance with EH&S guidelines.
Work Environment
• Laboratory-based position requiring appropriate PPE.
• May involve standing for extended periods, working with chemicals, and using analytical instrumentation.

Previous lab work or analytical testing is a plus.
