Editorial Visual Intern

Travel Curator — a global luxury travel and lifestyle media brand  — is seeking a visually astute, photo-driven, editorial intern to join our team. This internship is rooted in the art of storytelling via beautiful images and graphics that transport our readers and make our stories pop.
 

The ideal candidate has experience in visual media/graphic design, talent in sourcing and curating high-quality images, and strong writing chops. 

A small monthly stipend is offered for this internship and/or college credit to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:
 

• Curate and select high-quality imagery that aligns with Travel Curator’s refined visual aesthetic 
• Research and source photography; track usage rights and photo credits.
• Build and produce online feature stories within the CMS.
• Create graphics, native ads, and other design elements for Travel Curator using Canva and/or Photoshop
• Contribute creative input on visuals, typography, and design elements that elevate storytelling.
• Create social media assets for the purpose of promoting content.
• Contribute journalistic-style copy, as assigned.

Qualifications:
 

• Eye for elevated photography and visuals
• Strong writing/editing skills
• Deadline focused; adheres to strict deadlines
• Detail oriented 
• Organized; ability to balance and prioritize
• Experience with CMS is a plus
• Photography, art, or graphic design background a plus, as is an understanding of the luxury travel world
