Full-Time Histology Lab Technician
About the Role:
iHisto is seeking a detail-oriented Histology Lab Technician to support our routine histology workflow, with a primary focus on sectioning. This role is ideal for candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology or a related field who are interested in hands-on laboratory work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine histology tasks, with a major focus on paraffin sectioning / microtomy
- Assist with embedding, H&E staining, slide labeling, and sample handling
- Maintain accurate sample identification and workflow records
- Prepare basic reagents and lab materials
- Keep the lab clean, organized, and efficient
- Follow SOPs and laboratory safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and good hands-on skills
- Able to work carefully and efficiently in a fast-paced lab
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
- Histology or microtomy experience is a plus, but training can be provided
