AI Startup - GTM/ Sales Operations and Coordinator | Entry Level | Immediate Start | Onsite in Silicon Valley

GTM Operations Associate

Build the commercial engine for a category-creating AI company

EI is a category-creating AI company building the decision layer for analytical labs. We help regulated labs in pharma, food and beverage, environmental, and materials turn instrument data into signed, explainable, audit-ready decisions.

Our platform includes EI Flow for in-batch decisions and EI Signal for lab-wide insight.

This is AI where accuracy, traceability, and compliance matter. You will work from our Santa Clara office alongside people with deep expertise in AI, analytical science, and go-to-market execution.

About the role

We are hiring an early-career GTM Operations Associate to help keep our commercial engine moving every day.

This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who is highly organized, fast, reliable, comfortable with customers, and excited to learn how a deep-tech company wins in the market. You will work across HubSpot, lead follow-up, scheduling, CRM hygiene, and day-to-day execution that helps turn interest into real meetings and real pipeline.

You will be close to founders, sales leadership, and live customer workflows from day one. This role starts part-time and can grow into a full-time position for the right person.

This is not a back-office reporting role. It is a front-line execution role for someone who wants to learn modern enterprise go-to-market by doing real work in a high-trust environment.

Why this role stands out

  • Work directly with founders, CRO, and Head of Sales
  • Learn how real go-to-market execution works inside a category-creating AI company
  • Build skills in CRM discipline, pipeline follow-up, customer communication, and commercial operations
  • Work on live leads, real customers, and real commercial workflows from day one
  • Grow into a larger role across GTM operations, sales development, customer success, or founder support over time

What you will do

  • Own day-to-day CRM hygiene in HubSpot
  • Make sure every inbound and outbound lead has a clear status, owner, next step, and follow-up date
  • Track leads from first touch to meeting booked to next action
  • Draft and send polished follow-up emails after events, meetings, and outreach
  • Help coordinate follow-up calls, meeting scheduling, and reminders
  • Support sequence setup, lead lists, notes, and activity tracking
  • Maintain clean records across contacts, companies, deals, and meeting outcomes
  • Prepare simple pipeline and follow-up summaries for the team
  • Support office operations, visitor coordination, supplies, scheduling, and light founder support as needed
  • Work closely with leadership on live GTM execution, not just reporting

Who you are

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional, ideally with 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Excellent written and spoken business English
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Comfortable communicating with professionals by email and phone
  • Fast learner who likes systems, structure, and closing loops
  • Comfortable working onsite every workday in Santa Clara
  • Comfortable using HubSpot, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and modern AI tools, or able to learn them quickly
  • Excited by startups, execution, and the chance to grow quickly through real responsibility

Nice to have

  • HubSpot experience
  • Internship or early experience in sales, operations, recruiting, office coordination, or customer success
  • Experience following up with leads, scheduling meetings, or maintaining a CRM
  • Interest in AI, biotech, pharma, food, environmental testing, materials, or scientific technology

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and early applicants will be prioritized.
