Entrepreneur In Residence Intern

Shake Ventures is an SF Bay Area investment firm and technology company with a dual focus: deploying capital through market-neutral equity strategies and building advanced trading software for serious traders. We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial undergraduate to join us as an Entrepreneur in Residence Intern — working directly with the founder to take our internal trading tools to market as public SaaS products.

This is not a traditional internship. You will own real work from day one — spanning product positioning, go-to-market strategy, competitive research, pricing, user acquisition, and business development. If you are the kind of person who gets energized by ambiguity, moves fast, and wants to see the direct impact of your work, this role was built for you.

What you will work on: We have built a suite of sophisticated trading tools used internally across our investment and technology operations. Your primary mission is to help convert these tools into polished, market-ready SaaS products and get them in front of the right customers. That means refining the product, identifying target user segments, building & executing gtm strategy, and defining pricing and monetization models.

What we are looking for: You are a current student pursuing a degree in business, entrepreneurship, or a related field. You are a self-starter who thrives with autonomy and does not need hand-holding to produce great work. You are curious about financial markets and technology, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, and excited by the challenge of taking something from zero to one. Prior experience in fintech, trading, or SaaS is a plus but not required — intellectual curiosity and drive matter more.

What you will get: Direct mentorship from the founder of an active investment firm and software company. Real ownership over meaningful projects with visible outcomes. Exposure to the full arc of building and launching a software product — from positioning and pricing to customer discovery and early sales. A front-row seat to how a trading firm and a technology business operate simultaneously under one roof. This is the kind of experience that stands out on a resume and, more importantly, actually prepares you for building something of your own one day.
