Clinical Supervisor BCBA

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to help provide clinical oversight of clients receiving Behavior Respite services.

Clinical Supervisor - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Redwood City, CA
Sign-On Bonus:$10,000 for New Hires
Salary Range: $105,000 – $115,000 + $6,000 Annual Bonus Potential (Paid Monthly)

Responsibilities of BCBA overseeing Behavior Respite Services:
 

  • Develops treatment plans that recommend individualized, evidenced based, and focus on reducing challenging behavior, and/or maintaining low rate of challenging behavior by implementing schedules/routines that are client preferred.
  • Help families by modeling the implementation of effective behavior change procedures. (FCT, DRA without Extinction, Toileting programs, schedule thinning/demand fading, etc.) as requested
  • Service funding comes from partnerships with local regional centers to support individuals with developmental disabilities across all ages and disabilities that are eligible for Regional Center services.
  • Provide supervisory oversight to Behavioral direct care staff 
  • Monitors treatment progress and effectiveness to update treatment plans to support clients’ needs and learning style

Program Objectives:

  • Assisting clients with basic self-help needs while promoting highest level of independence
  • Assisting clients with socialization skills, as appropriate 
  • Continuing daily routines that the family is currently performing and provide families/caregivers with a break from the duties of care. 
  • Ensure safety supervision, assist with meal preparation, feeding, toileting, bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping

Qualifications:

  • Provide an active license or certification in good standing (e.g. Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Family & Marriage Therapist, or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Supervisory and behavioral assessment experience preferred
  • Experience providing behavioral services to children, and adults preferred
  • Experience in quality management preferred
  • Proficiency in the English
