Summer Appointment Setter

Preferred Roofing Inc. is looking for a few driven college students to join our summer sales team as appointment setters in Oklahoma City. This is a high-activity, commission-based role where your job is to knock doors, start conversations with homeowners, and schedule roof inspections for our sales team. The work is straight forward but it requires discipline and consistency — expect to knock 80–100 doors per day and work at least four days per week during the summer. Before you start, you’ll go through our in-house training program, Preferred University, including a hands-on sales bootcamp where we teach the fundamentals of door-to-door communication, handling rejection, objection handling, and how to confidently approach strangers. It’s a real-world sales education most people never get in college, and the skills translate to business, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles long after the summer ends. This opportunity isn’t for everyone, but competitive and coachable students who are willing to work tend to do very well and can earn strong income over a 2–4 month summer window depending on performance. Applicants must have a valid ID, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check.
