Storytelling Assistant

CarmenGoesCoastal is seeking a creative and motivated storytelling assistant to help document a real-life cross-border journey between the United States and Costa Rica. This role focuses on transforming raw video, photos, and voice recordings into compelling short-form and long-form content for social media and digital platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or early-career creatives interested in storytelling, video editing, digital media, and real-world narrative development.

Responsibilities include:
• Editing video content for social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)
• Organizing and reviewing raw media files
• Assisting with storytelling structure and narrative flow
• Creating short-form video clips and reels
• Supporting content development and digital storytelling

Ideal candidates have:
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
• Interest in storytelling, digital media, or social media content creation
• Strong creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and remotely
