Marketing Intern

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid / Flexible)
Hours: Approximately 8 to 10 hours per week
Compensation: Paid Contract Position

ABOUT THE COMPANY

JE Specialties Inc. is a Houston based commercial facility services company that helps organizations prepare and maintain their buildings through a coordinated vendor approach. Instead of businesses managing multiple service providers, we provide a single point of contact to coordinate services such as janitorial, pest control, vendor setup, signage, and move in readiness.

Our clients include property managers, schools, offices, and organizations preparing new commercial facilities.

We are currently expanding our marketing and business development efforts and are seeking a motivated marketing student who would like hands on experience working directly with a growing small business.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is ideal for a marketing, communications, or business student interested in gaining real world experience in marketing strategy, lead generation, and small business growth.

The intern will work closely with the company owner to help implement marketing initiatives that support client acquisition and brand positioning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with updating website messaging and creating service landing pages

Conduct prospect research for commercial real estate professionals, property managers, and new businesses

Support SEO research and keyword targeting for service pages

Assist with scheduling LinkedIn content and company updates

Help organize prospect lists and track outreach activities

Research new businesses and commercial developments in the Houston area

Support improvements to the company’s Google Business profile and online presence

Assist with creating simple marketing materials when needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SCHEDULE

Flexible schedule approximately 8 to 10 hours per week.

Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional in person meetings if needed.

$18/ per hour
