Marketing & Growth Intern (Summer)
EverGlade is seeking a Marketing & Growth Intern to support our marketing execution and growth initiatives across digital channels and business development efforts.
This intern will gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing within the federal funding and government contracting industry, working closely with the Growth Marketing Manager and the Head of Strategic Partnerships.
This role blends creative content creation, analytics, CRM management, and exposure to marketing and business development (BD) within a consulting firm.
Responsibilities & Duties
The responsibilities below reflect potential areas of involvement, all of which will be mentored and supported by the Growth Marketing Manager. The intern will not be expected to perform every duty listed, and the role may evolve over time. The program is intentionally designed to be customized based on the intern’s interests and growth needs.
- Support LinkedIn content creation, including caption writing and graphic design in Canva
- Assist with content scheduling and calendar management
- Assist with campaign setup and optimization across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads
- Monitor campaign performance and reporting
- Maintain and organize leads within HubSpot (CRM)
- Assist with email marketing, including internal communications, external newsletters, and email blasts
- Support coordination between marketing and BD efforts
- Assist with conference planning and material development
- Other ad hoc needs from the Marketing Manager and the Head of Strategic Partnerships
By the end of the internship, you will be capable of:
- Understanding and executing B2B organic LinkedIn strategy
- Supporting and analyzing paid ad campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta
- Interpreting marketing & BD KPIs and managing reporting
- Targeting specific audiences based on marketing platform, industry, and other factors
- Supporting email marketing campaigns and automation workflows
- Understanding how marketing and BD integrate within a consulting firm
- Developing project management skills across multiple workstreams
- Understanding of the federal funding and government contracting industry
Required Qualifications
- Background in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field of study
- Strong written and creative design skills
- Strong project management, organizational and critical-thinking skills
- High attention to detail
- Passion for business marketing, branding, and growth strategy
- Willingness to learn new platforms and tools (HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple workstreams
Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications
- Familiarity with LinkedIn content creation
- Basic understanding of paid advertising platforms
- Experience using Canva or similar design tools
- Basic understanding of HubSpot (or another CRM)
- Interest in federal funding, life sciences & technology, or government contracting
Internship Details
- Summer internship with 20-25 hours/week
- $25/hour
- Based in Charleston (laptop provided)
- Access to office space on King Street
- In office, 2-3 days/week
