Our platform transforms environmental compliance requirements into clear, actionable tasks that teams can plan, execute, and verify. Toolkit combines regulatory expertise with modern software tools and Ivy, our AI assistant, to help companies actively run their environmental compliance programs.
We work with industrial companies, environmental consultants, and compliance professionals across the United States.
Position Overview
Toolkit is seeking a Marketing Intern to help grow awareness of our environmental software platform and consulting services.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with the founders of an environmental technology startup and gain experience in product marketing, environmental compliance, and digital content development.
Interns will help communicate complex environmental topics in clear and engaging ways while supporting marketing initiatives for our growing suite of compliance tools.
Responsibilities
• Assist with LinkedIn and social media content creation
• Help develop blog articles and website content related to environmental compliance and sustainability
• Support website updates and SEO initiatives
• Assist with marketing materials, graphics, and product explainers
• Conduct research on environmental compliance trends and regulations
• Help prepare materials for industry conferences and events
• Assist with email campaigns and customer outreach
Interns are encouraged to contribute ideas and help shape marketing strategy for a growing startup.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
• Current undergraduate or graduate student
• Majoring in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Interest in environmental regulation, sustainability, or environmental technology
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, social media platforms, or digital marketing tools
Experience with SEO, Canva, content marketing, or website editing is a plus but not required.

Compensation
