Production Technician (Seattle, WA)

Microbiologique Inc. is now accepting applications for a Production Technician position at its facility in Seattle, WA.


Ideal candidates will possess the following:

-          A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (preferred)
-          Willingness to learn and operate machinery
-          Good attitude and willingness to work with others
-          Strong communication and organization skills
-          Strong attention to detail
-          Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Production Technician duties include: manufacturing bio-reagents, testing kits, data entry, inventory control, quality control, and other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 hourly. This is a full-time position, eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work occasional weekends.
