Undergraduate Research Associate
The Reynaga Lab at the University of California, Riverside is seeking Claremont McKenna College undergraduate students (not graduating before Fall 2026) for an 8-week summer research experience from June 21 – August 15, 2026. Students will contribute to National Science Foundation-funded projects investigating frog jump performance as a model for understanding animal locomotion, biomechanics, neuromuscular control, and muscle physiology. Researchers will be expected to spend 40 hours per week in the lab.
As an undergraduate research associate, students will be paid $17 an hour, 40 hours a week for 8 weeks, with on-campus housing provided at UCR. As part of the UCR RISE Program, participants will also have access to professional development workshops covering personal statement writing, CV building, and graduate school preparation. No prior research experience is required. We welcome students from all backgrounds who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn.
