Chemistry Intern – UV Resin Formulation & Testing

 About Us

Resinify Technology LLC develops high-performance UV-curable resins for dental, jewelry casting, and engineering applications. We formulate, test, and optimize advanced photopolymer systems competing with leading global brands.

We are seeking a hands-on Chemistry Intern to assist with formulation development, material testing, and lab documentation.

 

 Responsibilities

Assist in formulation of UV-curable acrylate and methacrylate resins

Weigh, mix, and prepare 100g–1kg experimental batches

Perform viscosity testing and material property evaluation

Conduct mechanical test sample preparation (ASTM bars)

Assist with post-curing studies and thermal testing (HDT, shrinkage)

Record lab data and assist in TDS/SDS documentation

Maintain organized lab workspace and inventory logs.

 

 Minimum Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in:

Chemistry

Polymer Science

Chemical Engineering

Materials Science

Basic lab experience (academic lab acceptable)

Comfortable handling chemicals with proper PPE

Detail-oriented and organized

 

 Preferred Skills

Knowledge of acrylates, methacrylates, or photopolymer chemistry

Familiarity with UV curing systems

Experience with viscosity measurement or mechanical testing

Basic Excel data logging skills

Interest in additive manufacturing or 3D printing
