Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000/annualized

Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Production and Operations for the All Stars Project (ASP) of Dallas is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operational, administrative, and budgetary areas of the ASP of Dallas. This leader manages the production of major special events and community-based programs, ensuring that schedules, resources, and priorities are effectively coordinated across all areas of the ASP of Dallas operations.
As a key member of the ASP of Dallas leadership team, the Senior Manager leads and executes mid‑ and high‑level projects to successful completion. This role requires strong collaboration with staff, philanthropic partners, and community stakeholders to advance programmatic and operational goals. The Senior Manager partners closely with the Director to implement ASP of Dallas strategies, policies, and best practices. They also cultivate a team culture that supports the development of impactful programs for young people and adults throughout the Dallas community.
The position is a hybrid role that requires some in-person attendance at the ASP in the Dallas office, as well as weekend and evening availability.
Job Responsibilities
Leadership and Planning
- Ensure smooth communication between local leadership and external and internal leaders across the All Stars Project (ASP) organization.
- Coordinate schedules and resources between key elements of the ASP of Dallas business – including but not limited to internal and external communication, programs, fundraising/development and education/social policy.
- Manage written correspondence including social media, meetings, agendas, proposals, presentations and events.
- Manage the tracking tool/resource library of content required for external affairs, this includes gathering and presenting statistics and other information as requested.
- Represent the ASP of Dallas, attend critical external meetings.
- Respond to additional requests made by the Director.
Operations
- Lead the creation of a team environment for staff and volunteers.
- Supervise the operation of the office of the ASP of Dallas, which includes all facility and property upkeep, security, and the smooth running of office functions.
- Manage the technology needs for the ASP of Dallas staff and office.
- Supervise the hiring and training for interns, key volunteers, and part-time temporary office staff.
- Manage the budgets for the ASP of Dallas.
- Set and update office policies and procedures; communicate them effectively and regularly to all staff and volunteers.
- Supervise, coach, and develop operations and production staff, including training, conducting performance reviews, goal setting, and creating onboarding and development plans.
Event and Activity Production
- Create detailed project plans for all program activities and fundraising events and provide oversight to ensure successful execution of the plans.
- Manage and line produce major special projects, events, and production of activities as needed to ensure optimal functioning of ASP of Dallas programs and business priorities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in operations and/or program execution, event production and managing IT systems
- Ability to manage budgets, including managing expenses for events to stay in budget
- Understanding of poverty-related issues and a commitment to creating educational and developmental opportunities for underserved youth in outside of school contexts
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders (youth, donors, volunteers)
- Proven capacity to apply independent judgment in planning, prioritizing, and organizing multiple tasks in a diversified workload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong business acumen
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Strong administrative skills including use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Database and online proficiency required
- Flexibility in schedule; with periodic weeknight and weekend hours required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Capacity to travel locally for site visits and events.
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and go up and down stairs without issue
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required
