Internship Snapshot:
The Business Intelligence Department is looking for a Business Intelligence Intern who is curious, analytical, and business-minded, eager to understand how data moves through an organization and ultimately supports decision-making. This role is more than working with dashboard, it’s also understanding how data is structured, transformed, and used to answer real operational questions across the airport.
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will contribute to a high-impact project unique to airport operations, giving you the opportunity to work with real data tied to how the airport functions day to day. You’ll work with SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts to support the development of data pipelines, contribute to reporting, and help translate data into insights that support real business needs.
This internship is best suited for students who have a strong foundational learning in SQL and statistics. Beyond technical ability, we are looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful, and steady in their approach to problem-solving—someone who naturally asks, “What does this mean? Ready to Fly? Educational Qualifications for Airport Interns*:
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled* in at least twelve (12) units at an accredited college may qualify.
- Students in their final semester or quarter who need less than full-time enrollment to graduate with four (4) year degree need only be enrolled part-time in courses required for undergraduate degree completion.
- Educational major must be related to area of interest.
