Position Overview

• St. Christopher Catholic School, a parish school in the Diocese of Columbus, seeks a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher who is committed to academic excellence and faith formation. The successful candidate will educate and inspire students in middle school by delivering engaging, standards-based instruction that supports the mission of Catholic education and the Diocese of Columbus

Professional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school initiatives
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and diocesan-required training
• Uphold the policies and expectations of St. Christopher Catholic School and the Diocese of Columbus
• Serve as a role model of professionalism. integrity, and Christian leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, or ELA (Master's degree preferred). 
• Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain licensure
• Practicing Catholic preferred
• Experience teaching elementary or upper-elementary students preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
