Middle School Teacher: 7th Grade Math

Dayton Christian School is seeking a Middle School Teacher: 7th Grade Math for the 2026-2027 school year. This individual fosters a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.  On a weekly basis, the teacher will develop lesson plans along with organizing learning materials and resources as an essential part of the teaching environment designed to achieve crucial state-mandated standards for each student while adhering to all Dayton Christian School (DCS) standards and guidelines.  The teacher will also consistently communicate with parents and guardians regarding their student’s holistic progress throughout the school year. 

Essential Functions:

• Designing and integrating a teaching plan.
• Strong ability to integrate Christian faith into daily teaching. 
• Consistently seeks ways to partner with families in developing a student’s academic, spiritual, behavioral, and emotional life.
• Demonstrates critical reasoning as a professional educator through communication and preparation.

Dayton Christian School seeks quality candidates who have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the discipline they wish to teach. A bachelor’s degree or higher in education, a state teaching license, and teaching experience is preferred.
