Position Overview

  • St. Chrsitopher Catholic School, a parish school in the Diocese of Columbus, seeks a dedicated and faith filled 5th Grade Teacher to support the academic, spirtual, and socail development of student. The successful candidate will provide engaging, rigorous instruction while fostering a nurturing classroom environment rooted in Catholic values

Professional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school initiatives
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and diocesan-required training
  • Uphold the policies and expectations of St. Christopher Catholic School and the Diocese of Columbus
  • Serve as a role model of professionalism. integrity, and Christian leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 
  • Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain licensure
  • Practicing Catholic preferred
  • Experience teaching elementary or upper-elementary students preferred
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
