Multimedia Learning Specialist

Job Summary - For this position applicant must reside in Arizona.

OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY

The Multimedia Learning Specialist plays a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences that support leadership development, professional growth, and organizational effectiveness across Chicanos Por la Causa, Inc. (CPLC).

This position blends instructional design, storytelling, video production, graphic design, and facilitation to create meaningful, culturally responsive learning experiences aligned with CPLC’s mission to drive economic and political empowerment and its vision of Empowered Lives.

As a critical member of the Training and Development team, this position will contribute to leadership development, succession planning, HR-related professional development, and compliance training while also delivering engaging and interactive learning experiences.

SPECIALIZATIONS

This position is ideal for a creative learning professional who combines strong multimedia content development skills with confident training facilitation. The Multimedia Learning Specialist applies adult learning theory, narrative-based instructional design, and visual storytelling to translate complex topics into engaging, practical learning experiences.

The role manages learning solutions from content development through PLMS reporting, ensuring alignment with CPLC strategy, leadership development priorities, compliance requirements, and Core IQ Values while driving measurable learning outcomes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Design and develop eLearning, instructor-led, and blended learning solutions aligned to leadership and professional development goals utilizing ADDIE, 4C/ID, Kirkpatrick
  • Create story-driven, scenario-based learning experiences that illustrate leadership behaviors, decision-making, and CPLC values in action
  • Develop instructional storyboards, scripts, job aids, and assessments
  • Create and edit instructional videos, guides and multimedia content to support learning objectives
  • Design graphic and visual learning assets using Canva and related tools, applying visual design best practices
  • Facilitate training sessions in live, virtual, and hybrid formats as needed
  • Partner with subject matter experts to translate content into effective learning solutions
  • Manage multiple learning projects while meeting quality and timeline expectations
  • Collect learner feedback and evaluate training effectiveness for continuous improvement
  • Publish and maintain learning content in LMS/PLMS platforms; track completions and reporting
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education and experience in the following fields will be considered: Instructional design, education, corporate training, healthcare/clinical compliance, organizational psychology or leadership development. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered to meet the qualifications of this role.

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of progressive experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of progressive experience
  • Experience in healthcare-related training and development will be highly valued for this position.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in video creation and editing tools (e.g., Premiere, Final Cut, MS Stream)
  • Proficiency with Office 365, SharePoint backend, ADP, Articulate, and PLMS platforms.

This position will utilize a high degree of critical thinking and EQ to deliver clear and concise engaging virtual and live presentations. The Candidate will create training that will meet the needs of CPLC while also meeting corporate change management deliverables. Additionally, the Candidate will need exceptional planning, collaboration, and organizational skills to organize and coordinate training rollouts effectively.

Other Requirements

  • Candidate must pass all applicable background checks to work with children’s programs, including National FBI criminal background check and State repository check results (for all jurisdictions lived in for the past 5 years)
  • Maintain and complete a TB test and receive a TDAP vaccination
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
