Social Media Intern

Location: Hybrid 
Duration: One academic semester (approximately 12 to 16 weeks)
Hours: 15-20 hours per week
Compensation: Paid internship, stipend ($1000/semester)

Position Overview

Lokiten Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated and creative undergraduate Social Media Intern to support our digital presence and brand growth. This role is ideal for a student interested in healthcare marketing, behavioral health, and mission driven storytelling.

The intern will assist with content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking across Lokiten’s social media platforms while gaining hands-on experience in a fast growing behavioral health organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Create engaging graphics, captions, and short form video content aligned with Lokiten’s brand voice

Monitor comments and messages and flag items requiring team response

Track basic performance metrics and prepare simple monthly reports

Support campaign launches, awareness initiatives, and community engagement efforts

Research social media trends and recommend content ideas

Maintain brand consistency and professionalism in all public facing content

Preferred Qualifications

Currently enrolled undergraduate student in Marketing, Communications, Business, Psychology, or related field

Strong interest in healthcare, mental health, or mission driven organizations

Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Basic experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools

Strong written communication skills

Organized, reliable, and responsive

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
