Pickup Operations Assistant-Vernon-Mandarin Required

UniUni — Pick-Up Team Operations Assistant (LAX) 

 

Role Summary 

The Pick-Up Team Operations Assistant supports daily pickup operations at UniUni’s LAX hub by coordinating third-party fleets, managing driver activities, optimizing pickup execution, and ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

Fleet & Driver Coordination 

Coordinate and manage third-party pickup fleets to ensure smooth daily operations. 

Supervise and evaluate drivers to maintain compliance and service quality. 

Communicate schedules and changes with drivers effectively.  

Route & Pickup Management 

Plan and optimize pickup routes for efficiency and cost effectiveness. 

Assess pickup requests based on client needs, volume, and service area. 

Ensure daily pickup goals are met and troubleshoot operational issues.  

Client & Internal Coordination 

Build and maintain relationships with clients and onboard new accounts. 

Handle customer complaints and service issues in a timely manner. 

Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to coordinate pickup and delivery workflows.  

Reporting & Documentation 

Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation related to fleet performance, pickup completion, and client communications. 

Provide regular status updates to supervisors.  

 

Qualifications 

Education & Experience 

Prior experience in logistics, express delivery operations, or fleet coordination preferred. 

Experience working with third-party drivers or couriers is a plus.  

Skills & Competencies 

Strong communication and organizational skills. 

Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. 

Basic route planning and efficiency optimization understanding. 

Familiarity with the LAX and greater Los Angeles traffic patterns beneficial.  

Additional Preferences 

Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) preferred but not required.  

 

Work Environment 

On-site role at a UniUni operations center/hub. 

Expect regular coordination with drivers, clients, and internal team. 

May include early morning start times or variable shifts based on business needs.

Rate: $20 — $25 / hour (may vary by experience and location)
