Administrative HR Coordinator

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Administrative & Human Resources Support Coordinator to join our ICF/DD facility. This role combines administrative, operational, and HR support with occasional direct care responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist facility leadership with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Manage employee scheduling and daily staffing assignments
  • Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy
  • Support resident needs, including coordinating purchases and managing funds
  • Track maintenance needs and coordinate requests
  • Process invoices and administrative paperwork
  • Order and maintain office and facility supplies
  • Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
  • Assist with staff coaching and compliance documentation
  • Provide backup coverage to ensure continuity of care

Human Resources Support (Under the direction of the HR Director)

  • Support recruiting, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates
  • Complete and process new hire paperwork and conduct orientations
  • Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with regulations
  • Track employee training, certifications, and required renewals
  • Assist with HR documentation, compliance tracking, and general administrative support

Training & Compliance

  • Train new employees on required internal systems
  • Track and coordinate fire drills, disaster drills, and emergency preparedness activities
  • Assist leadership with compliance-related audits, inspections, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Experience in human services, healthcare administration, or HR support preferred
  • DSP certification required or willingness to obtain
  • Med Tech certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
