EYE CENTER NORTHEAST OPTOMETRIST POSITION

Optometrist opportunity in a highly successful practice in Bangor, Maine. This multi-OD practice is state of the art and designed to meet the criteria for optometrist’s flow for daily exams. Bangor is an hour from Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park and 2 hours from great skiing at Sugarloaf. This area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. The University of Maine, located nearby in Orono, has the Collins Center for the Arts and Bangor’s beautiful waterfront offer abundant concerts, art and cultural activities as well as restaurants, festivals and walking trails.

-Great work/life balance with no weekends, no on call, Fridays closed.  Four-day        work week

-Opportunity to be published for working Clinical Research Trials

-Established patient base in place

-Each OD has 2 techs and at least 2 exam rooms

-High volume of both medical-based (AMD, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy) and routine eye exams 

-Large Optical Shop with Designer Frames

-Fully stocked Contact Lens diagnostic room

-Practice does not take Vision plans
