Social Media Concussion Awareness and Education Intern

Are you a creative and passionate student looking for a flexible, paid opportunity to make an impact? Concussion Box (CB) is seeking a talented content creator to help us spread awareness about concussions, educate the public on brain health, and promote our exciting events.

As part of our team, you’ll create engaging infographics, reels, and other content to elevate our mission. You’ll gain hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Illustrator—all while contributing to meaningful work in public health advocacy.

To be considered for this role, applicants must submit one original social media post in one of the following formats:

30-second Reel OR 8-panel Carousel Post

Your submission must focus on one of the following themes:

  • Concussion Education (e.g., signs, myths vs. facts, prevention)
  • Recovery Tips (e.g., return-to-learn, rest strategies, mental health considerations)
  • Quotes or clips from a story in the CB Audio Library

This is your chance to showcase your creativity, storytelling ability, and understanding of our mission.

Please note: Strong submissions may be featured on Concussion Box’s social media accounts (with full credit to you) — even if you are not selected for the position. By applying, you acknowledge and consent to this possibility.

What We’re Looking For

  • A motivated student with a creative flair and eye for detail
  • Someone who can commit an average of 1–2 hours per week to produce high-quality, thoughtful content
  • Strong communication and idea-sharing skills — we value your input and fresh ideas
  • An interest in brain health, storytelling, and impact-driven media

Compensation

$15–20 per hour

Posts take about 1 hour to create on average, though time may vary.
