Accounting Intern

Our firm specializes in providing quality tax and accounting services for closely held businesses in various industries as well as individual clients. As an intern, you will get plenty of exposure to every facet of the public accounting process. In order to provide our interns with a well-rounded internship experience and provide real-world training, our firm requires that students commit to a 1-year program.
Hourly Rate: $23/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze client Information
- Work with real-world data
- Prepare financial information for business owners, interested parties, and government agencies
- Writing correspondence to both clients and government agencies on behalf of clients.
- Administrative tasks: File assembly, filing, answering office phones, and general office duties on an as-needed basis.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Current Accounting Student - must have AT LEAST 1 more year of education before expected graduation date (Graduate-level students included)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Must be detail-oriented
- Maturity, dependability, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Must be computer literate - including MS Office Suite
Job Requirements:
- 1-year program commitment
- Working Hours: 20-24 hours/week. These hours are flexible to work around your academic commitments.
- May need to be available on weekends and evenings during tax season
