Multimedia Content Intern (Paid) – In Office in Concord, NH/Hybrid
The New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute (NHFPI) is looking for a creative Multimedia Content Intern to help bring New Hampshire’s most important facts, figures, and policy insights to life on social media.
If you live on Canva, think in CapCut transitions, have an eye for clean, accessible data visuals, and get way too excited about a good statistic… we should talk.
Here are the basics:
Location: Concord, NH (Mostly remote with available to be on-site as needed for specific projects.)
Hours: Part-time (15 hours/week)
Compensation: $25 per hour
Start Date: May or early June 2026
About the Role
As NHFPI’s Multimedia Content Intern, you will support the creation of graphics, videos, and digital storytelling across our social media platforms. You’ll work closely with our Communications Director to transform complex information into clear, engaging, scroll-stopping content that resonates with Granite Staters.
This is a great opportunity for a student or early-career communicator interested in public policy, digital media, journalism, or design and who wants a hands-on role making real impact in New Hampshire.
What You’ll Do
- Create graphics and short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Build easy-to-understand visuals using NHFPI’s brand guidelines
- Help brainstorm and script digital content tied to new research releases
- Support photography, on-site filming, and occasional behind-the-scenes capture
- Bring ideas, creativity, and enthusiasm for New Hampshire facts!
What We’re Looking For
- Lives online: you know what’s trending, what’s flopping, and what makes people stop scrolling
- Experience with Canva and CapCut or other similar graphic design and video editing software
- Ability to simplify complex information visually and narratively
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Passion for making New Hampshire’s economy, budget, and policy topics engaging and accessible
