Human Resources Intern

The Reed Family Companies is seeking a driven, resilient, and optimistic individual eager to gain hands-on experience across all areas of the Human Resources Department. The HR Intern will assist the HR team with day-to-day administrative functions, including recruitment coordination, onboarding support, records management, and employee relations assistance. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate HR documentation, coordinating interviews, contributing to special projects, and helping foster a positive employee experience while developing foundational knowledge of HR practices and systems. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Support recruitment activities by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.

Assist with onboarding by preparing new hire materials, scheduling orientations, and updating employee records.

Maintain organized and confidential HR files, documentation, and databases.

Monitor and track employee attendance, training completion, and compliance requirements.

Provide administrative support including data entry, report preparation, and drafting internal communications.

Contribute to HR initiatives such as employee engagement efforts, policy revisions, and process improvement projects.
