Business Development Representative

Who we are:
Imanyco is an AI SAAS Startup transforming how people experience communication across live events, sports, and travel. Through our platform, Koda, we provide real-time captioning and translation for live events. As a company, we place individual creativity and ingenuity above all else in our effort to better the lives of the elderly, hard-of-hearing, and those with audio processing disorders. 
 

Position Overview: 
This is a part-time, fully remote internship for 3 months. The role is reflective of a Business Development Representative. This role is the introductory role to sales in the modern software space. 

This is an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Sales Hunting, Pipeline Development, and CRM technologies. By the end of this internship, you will have gained the necessary hunting skills, vocabulary, and experience to jump right into the modern workspace. Whether this job sounds interesting from the accessibility perspective or just for the experience, we are looking for you.

What you will do: 

• Lead Generation: Modern sales require a multi-channel approach. You will be tasked with the identification of ICP leads through research (30%). Once the target is identified, you will attempt to capture their attention through cold calls (20%) and emails (40%). 
• Appointment Setting: Schedule product demonstrations for the sales team. Although this is an unpaid internship, you will be incentivized through compensation tied to the quantity of demo calls booked with ‘Qualified’ prospects. 
• Customer Discovery: Shadow the CEO through customer discovery conversations to understand prospects' pain points, challenges, and business needs.
