Karst is a creative branded merch agency that believes merch should actually mean something. We create intentional, elevated branded product experiences, and we’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator Intern to help showcase our client work and ideas.
This role is hands-on and ideal for a college student who is passionate about social media, understands short-form video, and is confident executing content independently. This is an execution-first role, not a strategy or planning internship.
What you’ll do
- Create short-form video content primarily of completed client projects
- Capture and edit Reels and TikToks
- Turn rough content ideas from our CEO into finished, platform-ready posts
- Film behind-the-scenes processes
- Edit content for clarity, pacing, and platform best practices
- Stay current on trends and formats that actually make sense for brands
- Collaborate with the Karst team while owning your execution
- Produce and publish content consistently (we value progress over perfection)
What we’re looking for
- Currently enrolled college student
- Strong interest in social media content creation, video editing, and storytelling
- Comfortable filming, editing, posting, and iterating on short-form video
- Able to work independently and manage your own content workflow
- Familiar with Instagram and TikTok and how brands show up on both
- On-site availability in our North Charleston office
You don’t need to be perfect. You do need to be curious, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative without constant direction. If you love making content but hate overthinking it, you’ll fit right in.
Details
Pay: $15-$20/hour
Schedule: 20 hrs./week
Location: North Charleston SC
Duration: Summer term May through August (flexible on timeline- inquire)
