Box Office Manager

Box Office Manager Job Description

The Vermont Lake Monsters provide fun family entertainment at affordable prices. The Lake Monsters are more than just baseball. They create interactive promotions, giveaways, and a unique entertaining atmosphere on a nightly basis. The Vermont Lake Monsters are woven into the fabric of the Green Mountain State and regularly draw fans from all over the state of Vermont, as well as parts of New York and Canada.

The Vermont Lake Monsters are looking for a qualified candidates to assist the Director of Tickets in day-to-day operations and game time management of the box office staff. 

Key Responsibilities:

Ticketing Operations:

Oversee daily box office setup, operations, and breakdown before and after games

  • Schedule, train, and supervise box office staff

Learn and operate the ticketing system (customer-facing and internal functions), including creating events and troubleshooting issues

Ensure all ticket scanners are properly set up prior to each game and reconcile attendance after games

Troubleshoot printer, scanner, server, and ticketing system issues as needed

Customer Service & Sales Support:

Answer phone calls and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner

  • Maintain strong leadership presence at the box office during all games

Maintain a welcoming and helpful presence for all fans and guests

  • Make sure all elements of sales contracts are executed properly and to the highest standard, ensuring repeat business.

 

Work Schedule

This is a seasonal position that requires availability during all home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
