Ecological Restoration Field Technician (Entry Level, Full & Part time)
$17–$24/hour
Join our growing team of biologists, ecological restoration specialists, and native garden experts at Spadefoot Design & Construction.
Spadefoot is as much a movement as a company. We are on a mission to restore Long Island’s native biome. Our food web is under increasing threat from invasive plants that displace native vegetation and reduce essential food and habitat for birds, butterflies, pollinators, and other wildlife. Through hands-on restoration, native plant installation, and long-term land stewardship, we are repairing Long Island’s ecology.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in ecology, conservation, environmental science, horticulture or hands-on outdoor work who want to make a tangible environmental impact.
