Agency Sales Representative
Position Overview-
Colonial Life is seeking a motivated Agency Sales Representative to support the growth and retention of employer and broker partnerships. This role focuses on relationship management, new business development, and delivering value-driven benefit solutions to employers and their employees.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and driven—someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, uncovering opportunities, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Build, manage, and grow relationships with brokers, employers, and business partners
Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and outreach
Support account onboarding, benefit enrollments, and ongoing client service
Conduct client reviews and identify opportunities to enhance benefit offerings
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions
Maintain accurate records of activities, accounts, and pipeline progress
Represent Colonial Life professionally in meetings, events, and presentations
Qualifications-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a business development mindset
Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities
Comfortable working in a consultative, client-facing role
Sales, account management, or business development experience preferred (but not required)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
