Legal Assistant Paralegal

Job Description: Entry Level Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys, ensuring efficient office operations and case management. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Document Preparation: Drafting and proofreading correspondence, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Case Management & Organization: Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic client files, as well as tracking deadlines and docketing.
  • Administrative Support: Managing calendars, scheduling meetings/depositions, assisting in answering phone calls, and managing emails.
  • Legal Research & Support: Assisting attorneys in preparing for hearings or trials.
  • Client Communication: Acting as a liaison between attorneys and clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
  • Court Filing & Tech Usage: E-Filing documents with courts and utilizing legal software for case management and e-filing. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
