Bilingual Insurance Assistant

Job description:

We are a bilingual English–Mandarin insurance agency seeking a motivated Bilingual Insurance Account Assistant to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English fluency required. Able to work comfortably and professionally in an English-first business environment
  • Fluent spoken Mandarin required (reading and writing Chinese are NOT required)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, professional, and organized
  • No insurance license required at time of hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support licensed insurance agents with insurance quotes, applications, and policy-related tasks
  • Perform internal account support and administrative duties
  • Data entry, documentation, and system updates in insurance platforms
  • Primarily an internal support role at the beginning
  • Participate in structured training on insurance products, processes, and workflows

Training & Licensing

  • Comprehensive training provided
  • Must be willing to obtain an Insurance Agent License within 5 months of onboarding
  • Company will provide guidance and support throughout the licensing process
