Spanish-first Crop Production and Latinx Farmer Engagement Internship

You will support the development and delivery of the Spanish‑First Crop Production Course by helping create and translate video lectures, reading materials, and assessments for both live and asynchronous formats, and coordinating logistics for simultaneous interpretation during sessions with guest speakers and USDA staff. Additionally, you will assist Latinx producers with limited technical literacy through individualized digital navigation support (in person, WhatsApp, and other platforms) to ensure access to online courses and resources. You may also contribute to translating and adapting Agricultural Justice Project (AJP) standards into Spanish and preparing plain‑language educational materials on equitable farm labor and buyer relationships. The intern will also participate in outreach to Spanish‑speaking farmers, upload resources to the website and online library, and support evaluation activities—including interviews, surveys, and data entry in Salesforce—to help improve course content, delivery, and overall program impact. The position is expected to do fieldwork with the Food Hub and/or Farm at Moraine Farm throughout the summer for around half day to one day per week.
