UNDERWRITING PROCESSING ASSISTANT

Chautauqua Patrons Insurance Company, a property/casualty insurance company in Jamestown, NY, is seeking a full-time underwriting processing assistant effective immediately. A temporary part-time position transitioning to full-time may also be considered for certain qualified applicants.

Candidate must possess strong computer skills, the ability to provide excellent customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.  Insurance experience and office experience highly preferred, but training will be provided to certain qualified applicants. 

Duties to include setup of new insurance policies, processing endorsements on existing policies, ordering and monitoring inspections on new and existing policies, generating policy correspondence, communication with agency and internal company staff, receptionist/mail backup duties, as well as many other tasks.  Opportunity for advancement available within the company.
