UX/Copywriter Intern

Ace Computers is seeking a UX/Copywriter Intern for Summer 2026 to help design, build, and optimize web experiences that are clear, conversion-focused, and user-centered. You’ll work across marketing and product stakeholders to turn ideas into wireframes, high-quality page builds (Elementor/Elementor Pro), and concise, on-brand copy that guides users to action.

This internship is ideal for a student or recent grad who loves bridging words + design, enjoys hands-on page building in Elementor, and is excited to learn best practices in UX, responsive design, and landing page optimization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Build in Elementor
    • Build and update pages using Elementor and Elementor Pro
    • Develop custom templates and reusable sections for speed and consistency
    • Implement layout and design customization, including CSS within Elementor when needed
    • Ensure mobile-responsive design across breakpoints and devices
  • UX & Visual Design
    • Create wireframes and low/high-fidelity prototypes to communicate page flow and hierarchy.
    • Apply visual design and layout principles (spacing, contrast, typography, grids, imagery)
    • Advocate for UX best practices (clarity, accessibility fundamentals, task flows)
  • Copywriting & Optimization
    • Write concise, user-centered UX copy (headlines, CTAs, microcopy, form labels, error states)
    • Collaborate on landing page creation and optimization (A/B ideas, messaging tests, content hierarchy)
    • Use feedback and analytics to iterate on conversion rate and engagement

What You’ll Bring:

  • Familiarity with Elementor/Elementor Pro page building (coursework or portfolio examples welcome)
  • Experience creating custom templates and reusable sections in Elementor
  • Hands-on practice with layout customization and light CSS within Elementor
  • Understanding of mobile-responsive implementation
  • Ability to wireframe and prototype (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar)
  • Knowledge of visual design and layout principles (typography, spacing, hierarchy)
  • Awareness of UX best practices (readability, accessibility considerations, friction reduction)
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to SEO basics (headings, metadata, internal linking)
  • Familiarity with analytics or testing tools (GA, Hotjar, or equivalent)
  • Interest in content strategy and component libraries/design systems
  • Portfolio or samples demonstrating UX writing + page design/builds

What You’ll Learn:

  • End-to-end landing page creation—from brief → wireframe → build → copy → optimization
  • Practical mobile-first workflows and QA across devices
  • Collaboration with designers, developers, and marketers in a production environment
  • How to use templates and reusable blocks to scale content efficiently
  • Applying UX writing patterns to increase clarity and conversions

Eligibility:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX/UI, HCI, Design, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field
  • Available full-time for Summer 2026 (10–12 weeks)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
