QC R&D Technician

QC / R&D Technician Job Description

Position Overview

The QC/R&D Technician is a dual-function role supporting both Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) activities. QC responsibilities report to the Technical Director, while R&D responsibilities report to the Director of R&D. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to continuous improvement across manufacturing, quality, and product development. Recent science graduates are encouraged to apply.

Initially, the workload for this role will consist of approximately 75% Quality Control duties and 25% Research & Development responsibilities. As the business continues to grow, the proportion of R&D tasks is expected to increase, offering the technician greater exposure to formulation development, raw material evaluation, and technical project work. This evolving balance provides strong opportunities for professional growth and advancement within both the Quality and R&D functions.
