ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are launching STELLA and producing a high-impact Founder Series Documentary capturing our journey leading up to our LIVE product demo on March 14.
This cinematic mini documentary will premiere at our official launch party and serve as cornerstone brand content. The selected videographer(s) will follow us over a two-week period, documenting the real-time journey of building, preparing, and launching our technology to the world.
Due to the scope of this project, we anticipate hiring multiple student videographers to assist with coverage, filming, and editing.
This is a unique, paid, portfolio-building opportunity to capture a startup launch story from the inside.
WHAT YOU’LL BE CAPTURING
• Founder interviews (individual backstories and vision)
• Behind-the-scenes preparation for launch
• Hospitality industry engagement
• Public engagement moments at Disney/Universal park areas
• Hackathon coverage (March 9–13)
• LIVE demo event coverage (March 14)
• Cinematic B-roll throughout the two-week journey
• “Walk to Success” storytelling moments
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Capture cinematic, documentary-style footage
• Professionally record interviews (clear audio + strong lighting)
• Shoot dynamic B-roll
• Film live event coverage
• Edit a polished Founder Series documentary
• Deliver short-form social media cutdowns (preferred)
• Provide organized raw footage files
QUALIFICATIONS
• Film, Media, or Production student (or emerging professional)
• Experienced in shooting interviews and live events
• Strong understanding of lighting, framing, and audio capture
• Proficient in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
• Must own and operate your own professional-grade camera, lighting, and audio equipment
• Available and flexible during the two-week filming window
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Documentary storytelling experience
• Experience filming in fast-paced or public environments
• Ability to create cinematic visuals
• Quick turnaround editing capability
• Strong creative instincts for brand storytelling
